Grants and Finance Coordinator

Seeking a seasoned Grants and Finance Coordinator to provide commercial contract management expertise, ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance in the WISH 2 project in Somalia and South Sudan. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in awards management, budget management, and system development in complex contexts, with a proven track record of managing complex awards, particularly commercial contracts funded by FCDO or USAID. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, proactive, and skilled in providing creative solutions for challenging organizational systems and procedures. The role requires strong Microsoft Office skills, experience with organizational information and financial systems, and previous management experience. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and realignment of the project budget, supporting Country Offices, and ensuring compliance with donor regulations. They will also be responsible for consolidating financial reports from Country offices and partners, addressing feedback from donors, and proactively identifying areas of financial risk. The candidate will work closely with the Project Lead, Country Program Leads, and other stakeholders to ensure effective grant management, transparency, and accountability. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a strong passion for the mission. The role requires approximately 10% travel, subject to conditions. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the WISH program team, working to ensure the effective management of grants and finances, and contributing to the organization's mission to deliver high-quality programs and services.
