Role Description
We're seeking an energetic and experienced
Sales Representative
to join our team. This person will drive business growth by acquiring new restaurant clients, building relationships, and expanding our reach into hotels, catering companies, and institutions.
You'll play a key role in
scaling Savorlink's operations
, helping us connect with more kitchens that can benefit from our ready-to-cook solutions.
This role involves regular interaction with customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
Additionally, the Salesperson will collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and track market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within the restaurant, hospitality, and catering sectors.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with Savorlink's growth goals.
- Represent the company during product demos, trade shows, and customer visits.
- Collect feedback from customers and share insights with the production and management teams to improve offerings.
- Maintain accurate sales records, track progress against targets, and prepare regular performance reports.
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics team to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in
Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field
. - 2+ years of experience in
sales
, preferably in the
food supply, restaurant, or hospitality industry
. - Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the
Kenyan hospitality and restaurant market
. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — engaging, persuasive, and customer-centric.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools or digital sales tracking systems is an added advantage.
- Must be proactive, self-driven, and passionate about food and business growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
