Sales Operations Executive

Our partner, a leading East African technology solutions provider, is seeking a Sales Operations Executive - Bid Management to join their dynamic commercial team. The company delivers cutting-edge ICT and digital transformation solutions across the region, partnering with global technology brands to help organizations scale securely and efficiently.
In this role, you will be at the heart of the sales process — driving bid management, coordinating tender submissions, and supporting the business in securing new opportunities. You'll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, crafting winning proposals, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external technology partners.
Bid and Tender Management

Lead the end-to-end management of RFPs, RFQs, and tenders — from document review to submission.

Develop and coordinate winning bid strategies by collaborating with sales, technical, and finance teams.

Maintain a centralized bid tracking system and ensure deadlines, documentation, and compliance standards are met.

Prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, and supporting documents tailored to client needs.

Conduct competitive market analysis to support pricing and strategic positioning.

Build and maintain standardized templates, content libraries, and proposal materials for efficient submissions.

Manage relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), distributors, and technology partners.

Coordinate joint bids, gather partner documentation, and ensure all agreements and certifications are current.

Support negotiations with partners to secure competitive pricing and alignment with bid requirements.

Maintain company certifications, regulatory documents, and staff CV repositories required for tendering.

Ensure all compliance materials (e.g., CR12, tax compliance, ISO certificates) are valid and easily accessible.

Support internal audit and renewal processes for partner and vendor registrations.

Monitor bid performance, track win/loss data, and provide insights to improve conversion rates.

Support sales forecasting and assist in generating periodic performance reports.

Collaborate with the Head of Sales to ensure alignment between pipeline activities and business goals.
Requirements About You
Must-Haves

You have 2–3 years of experience in sales operations, bid management, or business development.

You have proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.

You have a strong understanding of technology sector tendering and partner ecosystems.

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

You have knowledge of compliance and certification processes within the technology industry.

You have experience managing joint bids with OEMs or distributors.

You have a background in ICT, systems integration, or enterprise technology solutions.

You have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret bid and market data.

You are highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
