Human Resource Business Partner

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Our Client, in the Manufacturing Industry is seeking to hire a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) who should have a strong background in HR management and serve as a strategic partner to management and employees. He/She will focus on aligning HR practices with business objectives, driving talent management strategies, and fostering a positive work environment.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Collaborate with senior management to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational objectives. Provide guidance on HR-related issues, including workforce planning and change management. Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent. Develop and implement talent development programs, including training, succession planning, and performance management. Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms. Manage benefits administration and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Conduct salary reviews and recommend compensation adjustments to ensure competitiveness and internal equity. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations. Maintain accurate employee records and oversee the implementation of HR policies and procedures. Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Support organizational growth, change management initiatives and transitions. Prepare and present reports on HR activities and outcomes to senior management.Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree is an added advantage Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced environment with at least two (2) years in a Business Partner role. Professional membership and certification (CHRP) is a plus. Must have reported directly to the founders or business owners of the company. Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in Kenya. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels.
