RESPONSIBILITIES

ResponsibilitiesProspecting and Lead Generation:Identify potential clients through research, networking, and referrals. Leverage your extensive network of industry contacts within the African tech ecosystem. Independently research and mine data to discover new leads. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.Sales Strategy and Execution:Develop and execute effective sales plans and strategies to meet revenue targets. Create compelling proposals and presentations. Negotiate contracts and close deals. Expand the client base using existing contacts.CRM Management:Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and interactions using CRM software. Track progress, follow up on leads, and manage the sales pipeline.Business Development Strategies:Collaborate with marketing teams to develop event-specific strategies. Explore new revenue-generating ideas and propose innovative event concepts.Event Activation:Create customized activation plans for clients, highlighting sponsorship opportunities. Use data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau) to measure the impact of activations. Manage on-the-ground event delivery for success.Post-Event Analysis:Evaluate the success of each event, analyze metrics, and provide insights. Prepare event recap presentations for internal and external stakeholders.QualificationsProven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the events industry. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential; French is a plus. Strong network of contacts within the tech industry both in Africa and beyond.
