Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Sales Executive with a proven track record of client acquisition and revenue generation in Kakamega. This is not a typical sales role—we need a results-driven professional who can independently identify, engage, and close high-value clients in the construction, contracting, and building materials sector.

The ideal candidate is a skilled relationship builder with deep local market knowledge, established networks, and the ability to convert prospects into long-term clients. If you have a reputation for excellence in sales and can demonstrate measurable impact, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities


• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, builders, architects, and construction firms in Kakamega and surrounding areas


• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the construction industry


• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets


• Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and consultative sales meetings to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions


• Prepare accurate quotations, process orders efficiently, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery


• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to stay ahead in the market


• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales pipeline, and performance metrics


• Represent Olworks Hardware Enterprises with professionalism and integrity at all times

What We're Looking For


• Proven sales experience with demonstrable results in client acquisition and revenue generation


• Established network within the construction, contracting, or building materials industry in Kakamega is a significant advantage


• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers


• Deep understanding of building materials, hardware products, and their applications in construction projects


• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision


• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and priorities effectively


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic inventory management systems


• A proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to go the extra mile


• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
