Business Development Manager – Africa
to join our growing Export Sales team.
This is a unique opportunity to spearhead Caparol's expansion across the African continent, opening new markets, building long-term partnerships, and representing a premium international brand in the paints and building materials sector. The role comes with a clear growth path, with the opportunity to become Head of the African market based on your performance.

Job responsibilities:
Drive business growth in Africa:
- Open new markets across the African region and convert leads into sustainable business.
- Develop tailored business plans and proposals to secure opportunities.
- Achieve revenue and profitability targets for assigned territories.
Manage client relationships:
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting partnerships with customers, distributors, and contractors.
- Understand client needs and respond with effective solutions.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of products and services.
- Handle complaints and conflicts effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Collaborate internally:
- Coordinate with Marketing, Finance, Warehousing, Logistics, and Operations teams in Dubai to facilitate smooth business operations.
- Share market insights and competitor intelligence to support strategic decisions.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
Strategic leadership:
- Think strategically, set clear goals and objectives for business development.
- Monitor projects on-site, identify risks and opportunities, and maximize profitability.
- Act as a future leader of the region with the potential to head the African office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 5–8 years of proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or Key Account Management in paints, construction chemicals, or building materials.
- Strong exposure to African market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across Africa.
