Position Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for selling
all Tailwind product categories
, including aircraft spare parts, aviation tools, chemicals, oils, greases, carpets, coin mats, leather, consumables, and general aerospace equipment. This role demands a
high-energy, fast-paced, performance-driven individual
who can manage daily RFQs, source products, follow up aggressively, find new clients, and consistently grow Tailwind's revenue.

All activities must be completed strictly within
Odoo CRM
, with accurate documentation, follow-up discipline, and clear accountability for every RFQ and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities
1. RFQ Management & Quotation

  • Receive and respond to RFQs across all product categories.
  • Prepare accurate quotations through Odoo within strict timelines.
  • Source competitive pricing from approved suppliers.
  • Follow up consistently until the RFQ is closed (win or loss).
  • Maintain a clean, updated Odoo pipeline at all times.

2. New Business Development

  • Identify and contact potential clients in aviation, manufacturing, transport, hospitality, construction, automotive, and commercial sectors.
  • Build new relationships through calls, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and field outreach.
  • Expand Tailwind's footprint beyond existing clients.
  • Track new leads, new accounts, and conversions in Odoo.
  • Represent Tailwind professionally in all client interactions.

3. Product Knowledge & Market Understanding

  • Learn and understand all Tailwind product lines:
  • Aircraft spares
  • Tools & tooling systems
  • Chemicals (Ardrox, Total Tools, etc.)
  • Oils, grease, lubricants
  • Carpets, coin mats, aviation flooring
  • Leather, upholstery materials
  • Consumables, PPE, and workshop items
  • Keep updated pricing, datasheets, and supplier information.
  • Provide customers with correct, honest, and clear technical information.

4. Performance & Target Achievement

  • Meet monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Deliver consistent weekly performance reports.
  • Grow accounts month-to-month with measurable improvement.
  • Maintain high conversion rates on RFQs.

5. Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain excellent customer communication and follow-up.
  • Build long-term relationships with purchasing teams and maintenance departments.
  • Handle after-hours or urgent requests when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates
must
meet ALL:

  • Minimum
    1–2 years experience
    in sales (any industry; aviation is an added advantage).
  • Must be fast, organised, and able to handle high RFQ volumes.
  • Strong computer skills — Odoo, Excel, email, online sourcing.
  • Good communication, follow-up discipline, and professionalism.
  • Ability and willingness to find
    new clients daily
    .
  • Must be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • High integrity, punctuality, and strong work ethic.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in aviation, tools, chemicals, or industrial sales.
  • Knowledge of sourcing platforms and price comparison methods.
  • Experience handling RFQs and managing a sales pipeline.

Compensation Structure

Strictly performance-based.

  • Higher earnings tied directly to personal sales volume.
  • Base allowance may be provided during training phase.
  • Commission increases as performance improves.

Probation & Training

  • 3–6 month probation period
  • First month is training + performance assessment
  • Confirmation only granted upon meeting minimum KPIs
