JOB SUMMARY
Experiences and qualities to fit the role:3-5 years of proven experience in business development / sales / growth, preferably but not necessarily in the healthcare spaceExperience working in a startup or small company, or at the very least a realistic expectation of what it involves and the desire to be a part of oneExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and an aptitude for connecting and collaborating with people at all levelsDeep curiosity for, and understanding of, consumer needs and the ability to translate it into comprehensive sales strategiesStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environmentA love for creating aesthetic and compelling communication materials using tools such as Powerpoint, Canva, Mailchimp etcExperience using sales tracking softwares and tools such as Salesforce, Apollo, Hubspot etc. and an acute awareness of their value-add and limitationsProactive problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguityEnergized by a fast-paced startup environment and able to work independentlyKenyan national. Fluent in Kiswahili and English
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish, nurture and maintain relationships with prospect partners and clients, including but not excluded to; consumers, universities, companies, other mental health organizationsQualify leads and pinpoint ideal prospects through data-driven decisions to increase company sales and revenue, as well as improve customer retention and loyaltyEstablish strategies, targets, pricing structure, and tactics for business development and our sales approachContinuously learn about and craft buyers' personas in order to identify ideal prospects, as well as support customer success and marketing workCreate and seize opportunities to increase our brand awareness and visibility. Regularly communicate with Marketing, Product Development and Customer Success teams on thisSeek opportunities to unlock growth through networking, competitor landscaping, market discovery, and monitoring and analyzing new market trendsCreate tailored and compelling sales materials, product service demos, and content in a way which appeals and captures the attention of our prospect partners and clientsRehaul the company website to be a positive and memorable first interaction for any prospect, as well as to effectively serve the needs of our clientsCome up with different and exciting ways to communicate our services and promote thought leadership - online and offline
