Smart Metering Sales Engineer

M-Paya is a technology platform offering mobile and electronic payments processing. Established in 2007, Our business is to provide financial technology products and services.

As a Smart Metering Sales Engineer, you'll use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to contribute to product marketing and pre-sales activities, technical sales and bid activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Smart Metering Expertise:
    • Demonstratable experience working with smart meters, including installation, configuration, and data analysis.
    • Possess a deep understanding of smart metering communication protocols and technologies (e.g., Zigbee, PLC).
    • Experience with smart meter data management systems (MDMS) is a strong asset.
  • Process Management:
    • Implement and document efficient processes for managing and supporting existing and new smart metering products.
    • Analyse applications and recommend improvements to optimize technical workflows.
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide technical support and training to internal staff on smart metering technologies and procedures.
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments (e.g., Sales, Engineering) to ensure seamless integration of smart metering solutions.
  • Client Liaison:
    • Act as a technical liaison between the company and clients, addressing any smart metering related inquiries.
    • Assist with resource management to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical electrical/electronic/communication/ energy or a related field.
  • Experience in a technical role, with a strong focus on smart metering technology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
